Re: how is this possible ? Unexplainable
Hi J.S I am not sure where or who the breeder is. It has never occurred to me to track so far back however I would look at the ring tomorrow and post it may be somebody could identify from there. I’ve inherited the mauve turq and the only possible feedback I would have is that it is split pallid the...

Hi
Just another question does the Nico birds also does that? I.e. create partridge /grizzled looking birds? That can draw another question later however has anybody been familiar with such so they can point me in the right direction

Hi
I have excluded violet from the equation and also end up with 12.5%1.0 D blue /pallid opaline however the turq mauve is a normal turq mauve as seen above so what explanation can we draw to of a suggested pairing to extract the true make-up of the bird ,Anybody ???

Hi Tienie that is what have been looking for, now do you have that only in that colour? Because in the same nest what was the odds of lighter dom edge and darker dom edge? My main point of view is merely to determine what the dom edge does to recessive birds and sex link birds but you surly figured ...

This is defiantly a vitamin deficiency anxiety and combined with stress on the bird at moulting time would cause this to happen .A few years ago I thought I have had something on my hands but that clearly moults off eventually and the birds returns back to normal
