Need help with identifying if my ringneck is a lacewing?

Hello!
I hope this is in the right section. I bought Buddy toward the end of last year (nov/dec) and the breeder told me he is a lacewing.
Incase it makes any difference he is a DNA sexed male. His back (wings etc) are a light gray. His chest is lighter.... something like an even lighter grey/white. His head and tail are white.
Does this sound like a lacewing? i've heard about clear heads/tails but don't really know much about them.
Is he a clear head or tail? whats the difference between them and lacewings?
His parents were (if I remember correctly) a green lacewring (hen) and grey lacewing (cock). The breeder showed me the cock and he had the same markings only more vibrant/stronger. The breeder said as Buddy gets older his markings will become more vibrant. Is this right?
Thanks
