Hey everyone,
If anyone has any idea if Byndi is male or female I would appreciate your thoughts. I'm also thinking he's probably older than a year. I noticed yesterday he looked like he was getting some black in under his beak. Let me know if you think he's a he. Please?

I would probably say that Byndi is a boy. However, I could be wrong. Its just that in the second pic, Byndi looks more like a true 'parakeet' and nearly all males sit with their cheek feathers more pronounced. Most of their heads are rounded off. I'm almost 70% sure that you got a boy. Of course girls have been known to sit like that too

Can you please post a profile pic of his beak, then I can tell you more accuately. Sexers always have 'their method'. That is mine and it has been, for the most part, fool-proof.

The shot needs to be from the side like Builts if you check his post out.

I think he's a boy because he has nice skinny toes and not girly sausage feet! All my girls have fat feet and all my boys have long skinny ones. Also his beak and head look 'boyish'. I think he also has a boy's personality.

I agree but to be more sure I need to see how his beak sits from the side.
