Miracle Birdie Poop remover!!!

When I first heard about this I thought there was no way it was going to be this easy, but it is! Get a squirt bottle and fill with 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Shake well and squirt onto birdie poops. Let sit for about
1 or 2 minutes and then wipe with a wet sponge. The poops just wipe off with NO need for elbow grease at all! Afterwards I then sanitize everything with my steamer.

Thats AWESOME.
I am a little worried right now because I tore both Irn's cages down last night and soaked the toys in a small tad of bleach and water. Only a cap full of bleach to a small trash can of water. However, they are still wet and I can smell a faint bleach smell, like clothes from the laundry smell. I hope it is free from all bleach. I am waiting on it to dry to smell it again.
IF I CANT USE THESE TOYS ANYMORE, please god let me know

To be honest I dont know but I wouldnt risk it just the same. I too use the vinegar and water along with some dishwashing liquid sometimes and it works wonders.

I clean my whole house with vinegar and water. Its the best thing to clean mirrors and glass. Its cheap too.

put the bird toys in a vinegar solution and let it soak. Then put in the sun for a day and it will be okay to give back to your feathered babies.

if you rinse the bleach off I don’t think it will have any effect socking it in vinegar leaves a disgusting vinegary smell.

After they dried, the bleach smell was gone, ya'll know how I am about my babies
I may come off as a bad-a@@ but if something happened to one of my babies, ya'll would have to tie me down and give me HEAVY narcotics.

The smell of the vinegar also evaporates. When I first started using it around the house, my son told me our house smelled like salt & vinegar chips
I think if you have a lot of animals around and try to encourage wild birds and nature, the use of chemicals is not a good thing. Also, because we are on tank water only and recycle all our used water (except toilet water) we have to be careful whats going down the sink because it could poison and kill off our veggie patch or us if we then eat the veggies.

Bleach leaves a film that must be rinsed off thoroughly.
Vinegar loses it's smell once it dries. It's even good for your hair, lol.
Maybe that's why I've been craving salt and vinegar chips for the past few months... I never used to like them before. xD
Wow, Jade. It's awesome to be able to recycle your water like that. I'm guessing it's necessity though too, right?
