The male is now hanging around the nest box. He will sit in it at the opening and just hang out there. The female does not seem interested. Does this mean anything or is he just "hanging out"? He is not scratching around or anything...just sitting in the opening.

some males go in the boxes too, he will go in and check things out and make sure everything is right for his lady friend and then she will probably start going in too.
