Hi guys,
my name is melson.I live in kuwiat at present.i have 3 IRN's. A Blue boy, Lutino girl and the third one is a sky blue lacewing ...Male or female.
i want to breed them but i knw that if i breed the blue male to the lutino female i wil get greens and thats something that i dont want.I have ordered a Lutino male ...wil be arriving soon i hope.i want to breed the blue male to the lacewing.I purchased the lacewing from the pet shop.The owner told me that all the ringnecks he had were females.but when i took the bird a customer came up to me and said that the lacewing was a male.so i was like...WHAAa....! can someone please help me...the ring on her neck is pretty blue....here are the pics

Here the vet dont have the facilities to do the DNA test.Pretty Primitive.So am relying on you guys.
out here the weather is pretty damn hot in the summers and pretty cold in the winters.At what temperature do the IRN's Mate.i have mine in doors.

It would be a guessing game to try and tell what sex your bird is.

Here is a site that does DNA sexing of birds
They do alot of countries including Australia, so of you contact them, they may be able to help you.

Are all 3 kept together in that cage?
Can't really see how large it is, but I don't think you would have much luck with breeding in that sized cage....just from what I can see of it.

Ringies like their space and whether you have 2 males, 1 female, or 2 females, 1 male, I think there will be alot of fighting going on. Especially during breeding season. Just what I have observed with my pairs, and they are housed in pairs in their own large aviary each. Lots of fighting during breeding season. I even had to put double wire up inbetween a few of my avaries to stop blood shed.

i kinda got them from the pet shop in that condition.u knw how it is.about 40 birds in a small cage..no tails n injured.at my place they are most of the time out of the cage.actually everyday when i get up in the morning i open their cage n b4 sleepin i close their cage, so far they are not fighting.As for space.....i live in an appartment.what is the smallest cage that can i can keep them in.i wana get them a new one.
