Hello, I had an animal of some sort get hold of my male pied blue IRN. The leg came straght off, smooth to the body. He is doing very well, almost like he never had it. My question is, he is displaying and courting all over the place, can he breed with one leg?
Thanks
Jim

Hi Bec;
A one legged male can mate without any problem. It is more difficult for a one legged female since she must stand on one foot with her mate on her and the "moving thing" of mating.
Best breeding whishes for 2010.
