Hi,
There has been quiet bit improvement with Parry, our IRN. He is nw 5 mths old since we brought him, but he is still shy. Recently he started making noises, signs of his growing up. He occassionally makes them during the day. Bit tough to teach him to speak, still he has not picked up the simple word "Hi". Yeah i knw he just too small, even just started to make noise.
Now my major question, we have been keeping food for parry in his cage itself and not been handfeeding him. Mainly because he still shy to have from us. We are wrking ppl and half of the day, nobdy stays @ home. Parry's cage remains open everytime and he goes inside the cage only to have his fud and during night hours. Is it better to keep his food inside the cage or is it tht we just try giving him fud frm our hand and nt keeping them in cage. Wud tht benefit in handtaming the bird. So possibly 3 sessions a day instead of keeping fud in cage, we give it frm our hand.

i would suggest choosing one food that parry loves then only feed him that from your hands (i use popcorn as all my irns love it) but keep all his other food in the cage
