What makes you think it hasn't been fed? if it comes down to it you may need to pull it out and hand feed.
Have you put heaps of fruit and veg in for the hen?

do you have all the gear you need ready if you do need to pull the baby out?
Hopefully you wont need to but it would be handy to have everything ready incase.

I regularly heard some clutches of my IRNs crying through parts of the day even though they were getting fed, so many sure the bird is looking quite empty quite regularly before doing anything too drastic as you may just be giving yourself ALOT of work to do.

I would say try checking 3 times a day (or as many as feasible without disturbing the adults too much). This will give you a good idea on when they are feeding it and how much etc.
