Indian Ringneck Pink Eye

A 9-month-old Yellow Indian Ringneck (Twinkie) joined our family two months ago. Since her arrival, we've noticed a pink/redness in her eye, as shown in the attached photos. We also have Tinky, a green Indian Ringneck, who appears more active. Both birds have their own cages, toys, and a healthy diet. Tinky is slightly more active than Twinkie. They eat well, engage in various activities together, and sometimes playfully interact. However, Twinkie is a little less active, eats less, and has this pink/redness in her eyes. Given these observations and the fact that some yellow IRN has pinky eyes, should I take her to the vet now, or is it acceptable to wait for the annual check-up in a few months? Your opinion is greatly appreciated. Image.

I've been off the forum for months! Sorry!

She looks normal; some ringnecks have a lot of blood vessels inside their eyes. I would take her to a vet just in case. With Indian Ringneck, many hide their illness before it is to late. How is doing now?

Best wishes,
