well i am hoping to get an IRN soon...i already have two cockatiels, both very tame and come out a lot!...are IRN`s ok with other birds in the longterm? it would be nice if they can all eventually come out together once the initial quarrentine period is over....the cockatiels are typical tiels to be honest, scared of their own shadows...yet very loving and gentle on the whole, i worry that a bolschy IRN may be a little much for them in regards to all being out together lol....

Well IRN’s are mostly aggressive with other birds and teils are just such sweet hearts in nature that they might get picked on. But try and see and if it gets out of hand separate them. Maybe they will learn to play together but I would never ever house them together.

we are hoping to get a black capped conure soon and we too hope that both bluey and the new birdie will be able to have play time together and guess its going to be the excate same and will take time and lot of patients ... hope it all works out

we are just going to start by putting their cage together and let them get used to each other thro cages and then take it from there .... but our conure has not been born yet mum is still sat on the eggs and in a week they will be hatching and taken away for hand rearing

I have owned 2 Ringnecks now having the same Tiel. Ringnecks are likely to be the dominant bird here and you should observe them carefully. Don't expect to ever house them together. My 1st Ringneck didn't pay any attention to my Tiel and was practically a pushover. My young IRN was very agressive but has settled down quite a bit after 5 months. Like said before each bird is different and just keep an eye on them.

I know a ringneck named Ringo who happily interacts with cockatiels, quakers and conures. He doesn't speak english but makes good cockatiel, quaker and conure noises (and wolf whistles!!).

All birds are different regarding personality.
The breeder where I got mine has a very tame birds and they have a Lutino Ringneck among others, obviously but they have this tiel who when it was a baby got his beak bitten by another one of her bigger parrots and today this ringneck is very protective of this bird. If you try to pick up ET. The ringneck runs for you and tries to head you off. It really is funny, he loves that tiel. Maybe since he has known the tiel since it was born. Very sweet though.

Oh that really is adorable. They NEED to keep those two together. I would buy them both.
