Hi, im in NZ and its basically winter. The problem is i live in a really cold flat and i think my irn is unhappy. How do i keep her warm over night? A thicker cover on her cage?

Ouch, Does it really get cold in your house?
What you should do is buy a heater that you
can plug into a wall like an hour before bed &
keep it near the cage.

Good luck! :)

How cold is cold. We have our IRN's outside and some nights it might get down to 4-5 deg celcius, so long as the fids are out of the wind, they have enough feathers and down to keep them warm.
