bluffing? or just plain nasty?

how old are ring necks when they go throuh the bluffing stage. Lately my ringneck has turned realy nasty. one minutes hes nice but the the next thing he's launching at me and biting me. It doesn't hurt when he bits but its like hes really going for it to bite me. is this the bluffing stage? or has he just got his confidence? please help i want my nice bird back lol

bluffing. When mine do it I dont move away, I stand there and either laugh (after a while they laugh back, kinda creepy) or say im not scared of you. They sort of get this its not working look and then I walk away and not pay them attention for a little bit. Then I try again later.
