My irn has meds that have to be given twice daily. I was told it -can't- be put into a treat so i have to catch him twice a day and give him meds with a syringe.
I am going to end up hurting him trying to catch him and he's getting scared of me now.

I could use some advice on a possible alternative method of giving the meds.

When l had to give my bird meds one she hate and the other she liked so l gave the horrible one first, l caught her by towelling and held her firmly until she had calmed down. She tried to avoid the syringe but l just talked to her and she took her medicine, a syringe is the best way, make sure it goes down the side and back of his throat that way he cannot spit it out.
