Parrots Cage

Dear all,
please help me..
i am living in a flat in kuwait.i have 2 IRNs .i am giving them fruits and seeds as their daily diet.
everyday we are cleaning their cage but there is a bad smell is coming out from their cage..especially when we are getting inside the flat we could feel the smell very badly.how to avoid the bad smell from their cage??
please advise me to rectify this problem b'coz we love them too much...

Hmm... I've never had a problem with smells from my birds. There has been a few times where I didnt get to clean the cage for a maximum time span of like 3 days but ti still smelt fine.

Thats odd, if u have an Avian Vet I suggest you should take them to the him/her and see if there is an internal problem.

That is strange. Not to scare you but if the feces has a smell it is usually due to a parasite. I would get the vet to do a fecal swab and see. Because birds do not smell bad even if the cage has not be cleaned for a while.

For cleaning you can use vinegar and water, gets rid of germs in a natural way but I would get a vet check up.

I usually let my birds cage go without clean
for 1 week, that could be because my bird is
just not that messy yet..any way it never gave
me a bad odor.
