First off you should keep them separated, I don't know the two of the birds personality so to be on the safe side separate them.

The way I always would introduce the two birds is to let them see and hear each other for a few days. Then let them out together on a play stand that has not been either one of theirs, a new environment. Next if they get along outside of the cage, let them play on a cage neither one has been in before. You don't want territorial issues. If they eat together in the new cage, see if they will sleep together. Always quarantine any new bird before introducing them. Having your bird tested for disease can be helpful too. I hand raise Lovebirds with my IRN babies and the Lovebirds seem to be un intimidated.

I worked in a pet store years back and we never knew who's cage our Lutino IRN would be in the next day. The last day before we found a lock the she couldn't open, we found her in the Finch cage crammed in their cage, sitting on the perch, tail dragging on the bottom of the cage as if to say, "look at me, I'm a Finch now", LOL. She never hurt any birds, but they can. You really need to make sure that they will get along before trying to put them in a cage together.
