Is this a male display?

Hey there guys,
I have 2 IRN's, they are roughly 8 and 9 months old. My 9 month old one, has started to put his wings slightly out, will move from side to side and pin his eyes. I know it is too young for them to reach maturity, but he does this all the time.

Yea, It is said Male IRN'S are more then likely to dance.

Hi, I was wondering that too.
My IRN (that died
) and my new lil one both have this behaviour. However, DNA says they are both female!!
So i duno lol

Indian Ring necks are unproven sex wise until atleast 3 years of age so what can i do?

I call it their boy dance but my female does it sometimes as well. I love it when they do it.

Skye is a male I think. I haven't ever had him DNA'd. He does the dance all the time.
He opens his wings to that heart shape and strutts around and does the wood pecker thing and makes kissy sounds and stretches as far as he can from one side to the other. He also hops a bit. It's really cute. And me makes this weird sound all the while. It's like this one long drown out note that only ascends and descends in pitch a couple times.
