Hi, normally my irn is very friendly and affectionate. But for the last week she has been biting me really hard-drawing blood. I have know idea why. Usually it happens because she doesnt want to get off my shoulder when i need her to. I have been punishing her by locking her in the cage and covering it.
I dont know what to do! she is 6 months if this helps-may be bluffing??

There should not be punishing, What you need to do is let the bird out on its regular basis but do not let the bird on your shoulder for months. Wen you let the bird out the bird may roam on top of the cage instead.

She is out of the cage pretty much all the time...

Then let it stay on its cage, If it follows you around were you go try to not let it on your shoulders but if it begs drop it off on top of the cage to calm down.
