YOUNG QUAKER HEN ABANDONS EGGS HELP PLEASE !!!

MY YOUNG QUAKER HEN HAD LAID HER FIRST LOT OF EGGS AND NEVER WANTED TO SIT ON THEM !! IS IT BECAUSE SHE WAS INEXPERIENCED AND YOUNG ?? WOULD SHE DO IT ALL THE TIME ?? CHEERS OZZIE

Quaker parrots are funny but very temprimental little creatures. I had a breeding pair I placed down the road with a pro breeder, purely because they can be so particular with their nest and breeding. Although I have also heard otherwise. The main gist I get though is that the parrot will abandon the eggs if you go anywhere near the nest during the whole process. They are very private in their breeding

You should go and check out the vids of twizzlebeak, he sings the whole "I'm a little quaker" song. Just amazing and soooo cute.
