ok, i have two green IRNs. if they mate will they have all green chicks?
what if they are not like pure green, what if they have some other color gene in them, would they produce another color chick?
and does anyone know the breeding season for IRNs???
well thanx for any help

It depends on the genes in them. Green is one of the dominant colours, and since both are green it is likely to have all green chicks. However, if both carry the lutino gene you could very well have some lutino chicks, because lutino can be codominant. I'd consider that a longshot though. Greenxgreen normally begets green.
At least this is my understanding.

I wonder if the pied gene is possible for IRNs. Now that would be interesting.

expect green babies. however, you can also produce Lutino (yellow) if one of your bird has a lutino genes. Another thing is if your bird has a gene defect such as albinism, then there is a very slim chance that you can produce lutino color.
