NestBox

Hi there, I need to know how a NestBox looklike. I want to make a Nestbox for my Ringnecks. Kindly, tell me how the interior looklike as well as the best dimension. Hope you could help me. Thanks.

I use nest boxs made from 1'' thick pine.Make them 10''x10''x24''.

Thanks for the dimension Kenny.
Do you know how the Inside Part look like? Is there any compartment there, backdoor, viewing window.
Hope you could share how your nestboxes look like specially the inside part.

The nest box is shaped like a grandfather clock. It is 10X10 in. by 24 in tall. No compartments on the inside just a sliding door on the back that slides up. In the front a 3 inch hole is a good start. The birds will often chew it wider. I also use a piece of cage wire about 3 in. wide that goes from the hole down to the bottom of the inside of the nest box. Hope this isn't confusing.
