Im about to probably ask a really stupid questions but i will ask anyway. I noticed the other day my IRN's beak has parts crumbling off it. Down the bottom of his beak near the tip the red part of his beak seems to be crumbling and falling off. Is this normal?

It sounds like the same thing when my birds beaks are wearing down.

yup that's normal. that's the beak just wearing down. Right now, my Sky is chipping off a layer of his lower beak, revealing a solid black lower beak. that is adult beak coloration for IRNs I believe.

Thanks for the replies. Yes the red part of his beak seems to be coming off and it is a white colour underneath
