Today I went out to check my babies in the nestbox when I got a real surprise, my two visually green parents had two green and two lutino babies. When I purchased the parents I was told they had only ever produced green babies. Does this mean that the male, female or both are spilt lutino and can I tell the sex of the babies?? Will the babies be spilts?

Congrats on your 2 little surprise packages.
As Fah said in an earlier post to a question I asked, a hen can not be split for ino, can only show ino. So the male is split ino which would make both your ino babies girls.
Was that correct Fah??

Thanks for that I saw the post you are talking about but just wanted to be sure. Does this mean my green babies are boys or could they be either sex. I have great difficulty with the genetics calculater.

Bang on the money pink
The two green bubs could be either male or female, however the lutino young are definately girls.
This is what they can throw:
Male:
Green split ino
Green
Female:
Lutino
Green
Males and females are all 50% chance of either genes.
