Hi there

I have just noticed that my breeding hen has blood in and around her one nostril. Her stools have also become blackish/green and a lot larger then usual. I don't know whether she scratched herself or what as here nails are pretty sharp and not worn down. What should I do???

Vet right away. This is possibly linked, or two seperate problems like a scratch then an infection... however this is something you need to get looked at asap.
