I just became a proud parront of a 2 yr old male indian ring neck.
i have been doing research on birds for about a year now and decided that i wanted a green cheek but fate stepped in and i now have "Duke" in my life.
I have a few questions about duke since the internet is not that informative about his type.
well i guess my first question is are these guys usually a one person bird?
Duke seems to love my fiance and dosnt seem to like me so much. He was raised by a father and son so maybe its a male thing.

second.. i havent seen him play with any of his toys , i will note that he did not come with any toys so maybe he just has never had any?

third.. he dosnt seem to curious to discover his new home he just kinda hang in or on his cage which i always leave open.

four.. how do i win him over?

can i still get a green cheek , will they get along?
and can they live together in one cage.

well. there is only oneway to find out if they will get along.
but they definatly shouldn't live in the same cage.

is he friendly?
i suggest setting his cage up somewhere in the house that people always are. personally i suggest next to your favorite chair in the lounge, he will come out to hae a noesy when he is ready.
