Goodness!, your bird looks much younger than 8 Weeks, Ms Sanjay was that age when I got her, she was fully feathered and sleek, not a pin feather to be seen. Anyway, I am not and have never been a breakfast person, so I empathise, neither is Ms Sanjay, we both wait until our tummies "wake up", especially as she eats such a lot in the evening before bed, even wild birds I've observed tend to do most of their eating later on.
As long as you offer food, your chickster won't starve, Ms Sanjay was aviary hatched and parent reared, I never had to worry about weaning her, she loved sampling different foods after I got her, personally, I would observe how much your chickster puts away in the afternoon and evening, if he/she is anything like Ms Sanjay, he/she is probably still full in the morning.
