Hi All,

Im going to go on a toy making escapade:

I have just purchased http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846
Along with three other books (I can post reviews if you guys want). And a fairly tall parrot stand from ebay.

I will outfit the stand and ebay with custom perches made from BottleBrush (my neighbor is a landscape gardener and he will provide me with pretty much as many clippings as I can use). I will post pictures and how tos by this weekend and the before and after pictures.

Hopefully it will look OK and be fun for the bird.

Cheers

Looks like a great book. Do, please, let us know how good it is. ^_^

I've read some very good things about bottlebrush. Sadly, as a Landscaper myself, I haven't run across any of the trees on any of my jobs, lol. Let me know how Clamps takes to it. I'm interested in getting hold of some. ^_^

Whoops forgot to mention Im in Australia. This is probably why I can get bottlebrush more readily than yourself. :)

Have started on the book and three others, the ideas revolve mostly around PVC perches and what not, I think I will use bottlebrush rather than PVC I will post a full review Saturday sometime (Aus time)

They do grow it here in Florida but it's not as common. Especially with all the hurricanes, the branches aren't strong and many were torn apart from the storms. :(

But I can make bamboo perches/stands galore, we grow it ourselves. :D
