New to forum

Hi everyone, my name is Julie and I am new to this forum. I love birds an hoping to get an Indian ring neck. I have never had one before so thought this would be a good place to find out good and bad about these birds as pets. For instance how do you tell a male from female and is it true only males only bond with females and females only bond with males (humans)? I look forward to hearing all about your birds and where you all come from
