question for the breeders

i just got a IRN that is 5 weeks old and i'm hand feeding but i noticed with the beak that the top part is curled where to bottom part of the beak is out and the top of the break is not covering it and the top part of the beak is not in a point it is rounded
if ned be i can try to get a photos

If you can please get a pic or two of the bird it would be great, I honestly am not exactly sure what the beak problem is by the description thats all. I mean I cant get an image from it in my head.

Awww poor little one.
I would take him to the vet and see what they can do.
Looks like it will cause problems otherwise.
Does the top part of the beak have a tip like a normal beak when the beak is open?

You need to take that fella to the vet and talk about what needs to be done.
That beak formation, will cause problems as it ages, and affect its diet to quite a serious extent in the future if left alone.
Let us know what the vet says.

well after talking me diffent breeders i have found out that powder has Mandibular Prognathism
so i have my work cut out for me

well the vet is daying that we need to put a fake beak on and that it would cost $500 to do that and it may stay one and it may not but i'm trying to work with the beak to try to get it to come back on the outside ofthe bottom beak
