Got my IRN today

Post by darius »

This is Darius. Brought home my first IRN today from an owner who couldn't offer her more time than she deserves.

Kiwi, my new bird, is two years old. Very, very sweet. She is a she because the former owner the way to tell is if they have the prominent ringneck, and Kiwi doesn't have it.

I am looking forward to making new connections thru this board. I hope to get all the help I need with giving Kiwi the new loving home she truly deserves.

Hi Darius,

Congrats on your new IRN! I think you will be very impressed with these birds, I know I am daily with mine. :) Good luck with Kiwi...

Hello, Darius...

I, too, have and adopted IRN that I took from some folks who no longer wanted him. Now ChaCha has been with us for about 5 years. He's a great bird and very smart. We've got our little problems to work out yet, but we're giving it our best shot. It's great to know that there are folks like us out there who are willing to take on these unwanted parrots to give them more loving and interactive homes.

Also, I've got to admit, despite all of the searching I've done on the Internet this site is the best I've found for IRN specific information. Good luck to you and Kiwi; may you both have many happy years together!
