Im not one to sling around empty compliments. In my opinion, that is the prime example of what a well breed and well cared for ringneck should look like. No offense to the birdies that are having feather or other problems, could happen to any of them/us. Ugly or pretty, they are amazing.
Good Job Jon, how old is he? By the way, getting the hang of the posting/avatar thing, I on the other hand have given up

Thanks for the compliments Lisa and Mikaela. I think he is about 3 years old or more, because i've only had him for less than 2 years so i'm not sure. He got like this when i took him under my wing, ha, get it. He was a little rough on the feathers when i got him, i'll put some pictures when i got him, so u can compare.
It's real easy to put pictures and stuff, just follow Melika's intructions in "Breeding IRNs", then under your topic "Ignorance..." I just followed those instructions and i got it.

please comment on it

He's drop dead gorgeous. What a beautiful specimen. Great job on caring for him. Sunlight can do wonders, can't it?

thanks Melika,
yes it helps, but i wouldnt want him to over heat
so he gets shade from the tree his cage is under and i always have his water cup full.

Sometimes people refer to greens, with good color, as emeralds. Take my girlf or example. You noticed her really deep, dark green. That would, as would your bird from the pics I have seen, would be considered by most to be emerald... escpecially considering ours both have blue underlayings. My girl also has alot of yellow under her wings and at her uhm... bung hole hehe.
Yours colored like that too?

yeah Mikaela, mine has yellow under his wings, and under his tail feathers.
