I just got a new IRN and s/he is a beauty! Only about two months old and the sweetest thing I have seen. This bird is so super friendly. She is almost like a conure in that she loves to stay with you and be close. Very unusual for an IRN in my experience.

She is a pale green. Sold to me as a cinnamon, but I really don't know. S/he has a very bright red beak and is a color somewhere between green and yellow.

This is the tamest little bird. S/he is fully flighted and will always fly right onto you, even onto your finger if you hold it up for her. It is different than most ringnecks I have dealt with.

As you can see s/he is banded and I want to get the band taken off. I don't think it is needed and I have read they can cause dangers. Has anyone removed a band? Is it hard?
