Our "gerty" is 18 months old we haev only had her about 5 weeks!! having bought a toy with mirrors a few days ago we have noticed him/her Not sure yet lol behaving strangly- it will bow gracfully up & down the mirror length ( it hangs from the roof og the cage! and at the same time churps sweetly ( almost as if flirty) any ideas is our bird a male??

is the bird opening their wings in the shape of a heart? if so, sounds pretty male to me. all my girls tilt their heads back and cluck. my mature male does a similar dance to the one that you described, but far more elaborate, as he has had years to perfect it.
