have you any pics of that?
have you see him to overpreening or chew it or even plucking his feathers?
The inside of his wing has many feathers?
it looks me like plucking feather symptoms

This is normal, it means your bird is young and is still growing some feathers in. The 'bald' spot will disappear. :)

Make sure he's eating. A lot. I'm not sure, but I think our birds will still weaning when this picture was taken of them. So just watch your bird and make sure he's eating enough- and not just dropping it. ^_^

Lots of veggies and fruits. There's a lot of information in the Diet section of this forum.

yes its very similar to this but I dont think he is young as he has a ring around his neck, the other day I was petting him and opening the hole, there is like a line on his chest a stright line no blood or anything, but no feathers when I open it but when normal it looks like the picture you posted I think I have to take a picture? could he still be young?

He's not young if he has a ring.

There shouldn't be any skin showing by now.

Is it possible he had a past injury, and that area is scarred?

I really don't know. But yes, please post some pics. :)

:( This looks just like our tiel had years ago, after breaking his breast bone in a fall onto tiled floor. Wings clipped incorrectly might of been the cause of him falling all the time. All I remember is our poor tiel kept nosediving into the tiles. Eventually his wound opened up and it didnt look pretty. It started off small like your pic, then it ended up being a big gaping wound. I believe he started plucking his feathers around the wound. Dad took him to a vet and he was given a needle for pain maybe?.. I dont remember much more as I was young. I would take your bird to an avian vet immediately. He might have a cracked or broken breast bone? He could be in pain and you wouldnt know because they disguise it so well. We sure didnt realize what had happened to our tiel, until his belly was bare and he had a hole in his chest.. He was trying to tell us he was in pain. :(

That wound does look nasty :(

I agree it needs vet assistance. Imagine having a gaping hole like that in you....ouch!!! :(

Not only would it be painful but infection can set in causing alot of problems.

Poor little one.

:( Yep looks like the breast bone or sternum area. As I said, might of broken something. Thats what our tiel looked like before it got worse. Definately get him to a vet asap.

My bird's wound is getting much better, I took him to a vet and gave me some medicine that I had to rub on his wound 2 times a day now its getting much better, I have a question he doesn't make any noise he only talks sometimes when he sees his reflection is that in there normal nature?

Good to hear that your bird is on the mend. Glad you took him to the vet :)

As for him not making any noise, he might "chat" while you are out. He is talking to his reflection as he thinks this is another bird. :) I have a few aviary birds that clam up when they see me while others call out very loudly when I am coming lol.
