Hi!
I have Sami, an Indian Ringneck about 6 months old aprox. and he/she doesn't really like to be scratched.
Is there something I can do, just to allow scratches?
Thanks!!

Ok thanks!
Now I athink that it's just his personality, like some people like being huged and some not (its an example).
And another thing
these days Sami has been a little strange, because he/she started biting and refusing hands in the cage, and out of the cage sometimes and he/she is 6 months old.

That sounds like the bluffing stage just try to stand your ground when s/he bites just try to ignore it and dont give him/her any attention this link will explain more

Keep trying--when all those itchy pinfeathers come in after a good moult you may end up with just the opposite problem!

With Hane I began just by touching my finger to his beak, and when he allowed that with no fussing, I started touching his little forehead. And so on and so forth slowly inching my way to the top of his head. When he let me scratch the top of his head, I worked my way down further to his neck and cheeks. Took a while, but that's what worked for him and me.
