yyyaaaayyy!! Spit is sooo clever, i cant believe it! lol. i was playing with his new bell the other day and i was saying "whats this spit? is it toy?" and after i was saying "ttoooyyy", like dragging the word out and making the word a higher pitch than normal. and now! if i touch the top of the toy, and say "whats this" he makes a high pitched long drawn out noise that sounds like "tttoooyyy". hes trying to mimic me saying "toy", but he only does it if i touch his bell, not if i ask what anything else is.
its the second word in a week he has attempted to mimic straight away after us only saying it once or twice. the first word was Harvey, because we were asking him where the rat was. we said it like "hhaaarrr- vey", and he mimiced the noise straight off but only if we touched or pointed to harveys cage.
ooommmggg!!! he cant make out proper words but the noises sound so right! and he can associate them with certain objects. im so excited. he keeps jibbering away to himself so i think hes desperate to talk to us
sorry if you dont care lol, this is the biggest jump hes made in trying to get along with us, and i just wanted to tell someone
