Another Aussie bird

These were also taken in the backyard. Not often I see them there but I think he was after the discarded seed from the aviaries.

Anyone like to have a guess what breed he is????

They are pretty little birds

Ok for anyone who is interested, the little Aussie bird is...............

A Red-Rumped Parrot, commonly called Grass Parrot. This one is a male. The females are very plain colouring. Apparently they can make great pets. I just love to see them visiting me from the wild

Aww! What a cutie! Ive never seen them in the wild down here.
