New puppy meeting the birds

I got a mini dachshund puppy called chip and he has been getting used to living with the birds. He goes under their cage and eats the scraps they throw down.
Percy is happy to play around on the floor with him. Chip chases Percy and when Percy has had enough she turns around, puts her wings out and gets ready to bite, then Chip backs off, and they do it all over again. Percy can fly away, so I am guessing she enjoys it too.
