Rufus has got some kind of growth in between his upper and lower mandible. It's about 2-3 mm each way and looks like he got a piece of raisin stuck, but it's attached. I tried to get a picture, but he (naturally) was wiggling, so I don't know if it will show up well:

Does anybody know what it is and what I should do about it?

That's what your talking about right..? The bit I circled.. because my bird has a growthy thing similar to that, but on the other side.



I'm not sure what it is o.o I'll have to look it up.

Could be build up of old dry food. Try soaking it in warm wet cloth. A vet check would be advised also.

It fell off today. YAY!

I think it was just food. I looked at his beak and it doesn't look like something actually was growing.
