Hey ya everyone its been quite while and Jenny my IRN is growing beautifully, she also have many friend by now! I bought new fids and they are red lory, eastern rosella, and regent parakeet. They are currently under taming process and they are doing fine and getting tamer and tamer time by time, oh they dont have name yet.

I had a question, why do Jenny target these bird feet everytime they all went out playing together? She would chase them around until she catch their feet and bite them! My eastern rosella is mainly the victim, Jenny would stalk her and bite her feet!! I would scold her and put her back in the cage everytime she does this, not in a harsh way of course..
All my other bird are nice to each other when they all play together, although they sometime got jealous of each other and start a little fight, this is not a problem cause none of them hurt each other, but Jenny... she feel like she is the queen of the flock!

They all live in a bird room and each have big enough cage, all are equal.
They have gym, chewing toys, everything that can they can bite and enjoy.

I LOVE Rosellas! I've never met a tame one though. I think it's a natural aggressive thing. Many animals will nip at the tail and feet when meeting another they do not like.

Please do not scold them in any way. You cannot punish a bird. They don't learn this way and they may end up just being scared of you in the end. But I think putting him back in his cage is a good idea... nothing more needs to be done. Be calm and quickly pick her up, dont do it a minute later since she might be confused as to why shes going to her cage.

I think this is a natural behaviour. Jibby goes for other birds toes too. But he is not king of the flock here. lol. He only does it if Yoda is climbing around his cage and hes inside trying to have a nap, he will go for Yodas toes. I think its his way of saying, 'go away I'm trying to sleep'. lol.

Maybe Jenny is feeling threatened by the others, or maybe shes just saying this is my room/house/cage. Possessive of her things perhaps.
Its a good idea to keep a routine when introducing more birds to the flock, so that she doesnt feel her world is changing. Also slowly over a few weeks let them interact with each other.
When I got Yoda, I made sure I still spent lots of time and cuddles with Jibby, more than we normally did before. But then I think all he wanted to do was see the new birdy in the spare room. I had Yoda in the spare room to slowly introduce them for an hour or 2 a day for a few weeks until I moved him out here with Jibby.

I think its natural to have one of the birds more dominating than the others when you have a few birds. Thats flock mentality and you might find the hierarchy changes too. They will learn to get along. But like us, they will have their little fights from time to time. But if Jenny is out to kill or injure the others seriously, maybe you could separate them into different rooms. I know this could be hard. But its the only way. Thats if things get worse and they just dont seem to be working things out. But hopefully fingers crossed it all works out.

They sound very spoiled and so they should be. hehe.

Oh okay, I thought its some kind of bad behavior, but is there anyway to stop the habit? I mean I want them to like each other....
