Lazaros love palm nut, eats it with zest and spend many time.
I break also the kernel and lazaros eats the inside and the kernel too, its very good for his beak.
i know that palm nuts is main food for amazons.
I have palm nuts in my freeze.
But palm nuts must be full of fat, so i give him only a nut per week.

Do you give palm nuts to your birds?

Nil Palm nuts are very high in fat my macaws love them but my ringnecks aren't that crazy about them.

I do use the red palm oil on their food once a month except when they are on eggs or have babies.

It may :) You only use a drop or two for that small of bird. I use the end of a cocktail straw and dip it in the oil and let it drip a few times on their food. Try it's not going to hurt him at all.

I have tried giving Cory Almond Nut... He couldn't crack it, until my daughter showed him yesterday. He finally worked out, there was two layers to get off...
