First time irn owner :)

Hello everyone.
I've previously kept conures but yesterday brought home a beautiful irn, I'm assuming he's around 3 years old as he has his ring already. According to previous owner he will be 2 in July. Would he have a ring yet if he was?. We have named him kiwi to match his beautiful green colour.
It was a big step for us to commit to another parrot having lost our little pearly buddy just over 2 years ago. We can still hear "hello buddy" when we walk in the door
Now the hard work begins to tame our little kiwi
