stand on the sand

We took a stand on Sunday to protest to the government and Mr Brumby against the proposed desalinisation plant they plan on building in Wonthaggi, Near beautiful Powlett River and Williamsons Beach.

Hundreds of us made the pilgrimage down to the beach to form our visual voice on the sand, the Words created in human bodies thats gave a clear message ... "At What Cost ?"

good for you! what an incredible effort for such an important cause

who knows when the day comes that there are no wild places left? not today! and not anytime soon with people in the world willing to fight for the good things! congrats to all involved!

my congratulations kyria, it is so nice and useful to be people who try to save our earth.
i hope you finally save poor river and coast.
i ll send the letter to brumby, but why dont you gather signs and send e-mails petitions to him.?With e-mails more people will response than post, and is so widely used worldwide.

Good on you Angie! Such a beautiful area. Its a shame, it would be ruined by the plant. :(
