Hi.
Our 18 month irn has over the last 3 to 4 weeks developed a patch between his eye and beak.

He seems to be otherwise fine and happy, eating what has been adviced and so on.

Tango spends most of the afternoon and evening out the cage.

Any suggestions? Should it grow back? Do i take him to the vet or wait a bit?

It could be that he is rubbing his beak against the cage bars or is starting to molt. It can't be plucking due to the location. You should know that many ringneck's often have bare patches while molting. It doesn't look too bad, but I would give it a few weeks and im sure some feathers will grow in.

If you feel something is wrong, take him to the vet.
