HAVE A GORGEOUS INDIAN RINGNECK, HES A CINNAMON GREEN HAS PIED GENES, HES BEEN A DAD ONCE MADE 3 BABYS WITH A CINAMON GREEN INDIAN RINGNECK, THEY HAD 3 PIEDS 1 CINAMON GREEN AND 1 BLUE, IM LIVING IN AN APARTMENT HE USE TO LIVE IN A HUGE AVIARY, WHICH I CAN NO LONGER PROVIDE, IM LOOKING TO TRADE HIM FOR EITHER FISHERS LOVEBIRDS, LADY GOULDIAN FINCHES,AUSTRALIAN GRASS PARAKEETS OR CANARIES OR ANY OTHER SMALL BIRD, HE DOES TALK "PRETTY BIRD" "MWUAHZZZZ" "BOOP-BOOP-BE-DOOP-BOOP" "WOLF WHISTLE" "WEEEEEEEEEE" AND HE SAYS OTHER THINGS I JUST CANT MAKE OUT WHAT HES SAYING, SOUNDS LIKE HE SAYS AFRICAN GREY, WHO KNOWS, HES NOT A TAME BIRD BUT IT AMAZING TO WACH AND WILL TAKE FOOD FROM YOUR HAND, HES OBSSESSED WITH ORANGE AND YELLOW THINGS.***i can send pictures upon request***

I'm reading and thinking to myself where the .. is Oxnard .. CA in the US right ? Sounds like a lovely breeder. Wish I could help. Wonder if Jay is interested he is in CA . might go page him :wink:

Very good! Your geography is much better than mine. About an hour north of LA border. I did email the person and said I had no birds to trade, but would be glad to offer a home if needed. There is one person in that area (but not Oxnard) who is always posting with strange things -- does answer me and usually reports has found homes for whoever he was trying to sell/trade/whatever. People are so interesting.

It's an interesting trade. A proven breeder is definitely useful for someone getting into color breeding. I have some Australian Grass Parakeets which the poster wants to trade for but at this point in time, I prefer them over Green Cinnamon IRNs which I have an abundance of myself.
