Does anyone use flight suits to take their fids outside? If not what do you use as restraint if any when out in the open?

My quaker has a flight suit, other than that NO OUTSIDE. I have predator birds that could pick off my little cuties.... I do have some cages that I set them out in but no free time without the flight suit.

I take my lorikeet outside, but she has such a horrible clip, the farthest she goes is down.. its kinda sad, and scary when she hits things on the way down...
but she also has a flight suit. I HAVE taken her out in that too, and it works.. adds a bit of weight though, just something to keep in mind.

My clipped ones come out into our quiet small tree covered front courtyard sometimes. But other than that they and others get the sun through the birdroom window and free flight around the bird room and play around the house.
I have thought about flight suits, but we have big nasty magpies and wattle birds that would dive bomb my birds in a flash. And if you have ever seen what a magpie beak can do in one swoop, uh uh uh ! no way especially seeing as how bright red looks on yellow
We are getting an outisde aviary for the breeders after this season as they are already making nests and I think my IRN female is already going down (have to check soon).

I use a flight suit on my macaw and the aviator harness on the ekkies. My IRN is an abused rescue and I can't touch her without her freaking out.
