Hi Everyone,
I have been reading most of the posts for the last month, learning all I can about IRP. I recently added one to my family from Jay here is CA. My new baby is a Turquoise/Blue Lacewing and is 3 months old. He loves all his fruits and veggies, and we are learing step up and seems to be very tame. Look forward to everyone's continued support and good info.
I have photos just not sure how to add it.

Hello and welcome to the flock here! Looking forward to 'meeting' you and your baby bird!
There is a 'sticky' in the photo section on how to post pictures. But here it goes anyway,
Create a free account at any photosharing site eg. photobucket, imageshack, tinypic.. then upload your pictures onto your account. Once uploaded you will see some codes beside or under your pictures.
Select the 'IMG' code and copy paste it onto your post. This will show your pictures on your post. Or Select the 'URL' and copy paste. This will show a URL to your account where we can click on to view your pictures.

Hey Michelle, welcome to the group. It was a pleasure meeting you and your daughter last week. Seems like the baby bird is settling in just fine. Don't hesitate to call, e-mail, or ask the group if you have any questions. This forum is populated by lots of wonderful and friendly mammals and avians.
Hey Angie and all, thanks for the compliment. Glad you like the soft pastel colors. That's why they call 'em the Rainbow IRNs. He may also have the Pied gene as he is a sibling to this Blue Pied Lacewing

Chamon, thats bad luck Ay

(sorry just had to throw on an accent)
OH!! MY !! GOSH !! Jay !
that bird is the most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time. Just stunning. Ok How much ? , "JIM CALL THE BANK" lol.
If I had her I would probably call her (is it a she ?) Ely .. short for Elysian.
meaning so beautiful, being of such surpassing excellence as to suggest inspiration by the gods, (now it would be "an inspiration of God")

That's a nice name Angie. I've gotten generous offers for the bird but I plan to keep her/him for further breeding.
