I feel privileged today. Whilst preneing my hair, Yoda lent over and gave me some 'special birdy love' right from the heart.. or crop. It wasnt pleasant. :shock:

Do they feel rejection?

They can get frustrated if they have picked you as a mate and for obvious reasons you can't reciprocate. If you want him to not regurg for you then when he does it just remove him from close to you and give him something else to do. There are also ways that you can keep him from doing this behavior as well.

Most of that involves not petting him like a mate would groom him, offering more trick training to let him know you are his flock leader and he works for you and treats.

But it is cute that he loves you so much.

I know just how you feel. As much I too love Smokey, something tells me he loves me more

. He regurgitates on my right hand all the time - note never the left and that I find odd. He loves the blue ring on my right hand also. He also does it in my ears. He loves it when I wear my hair up and he will sit on my shoulder and "special love" my ears. Whilst doing this he will occassionally lean round and give my a very special kiss 'yuk' but funny. I am the only one he does this to. Whilst I do laugh at these antics, I do find it a bit yuk.
