hi all need some advise....

i have a 4 week old baby alex..before feeding he is v excited and keeps running towards me for a feed...but once fed he doenst seems tht attached and keeps turning away from me?

what should i do ?

Don't worry your Alex is still very young. Just keep handling him and giving him attention everyday. Don't take it too personally. It just takes a little time for them to adjust to you. All birds are excited when they see food then once they have it, its like nothing else matters. My 2 still snatch food off me and run away with it with no thankyou!

It could be that this was the routine with the breeder until this point. Feed him and then just leave. Or if with the parents, there was no human interaction. I think its time to feed him, then make a point of making him play and be with you so he gets use to feed, then play.
