Hello everyone! I have been wanting an IRN for as long as Ive had birds. Well I finally purchased one and I am so excited. I love my bird already. My roommates named him Smurf, because it is of the blue mutation. Im goin to get a DNA test for it soon. Ive gotten it weaned down to one feeding a day and Im trying to wean it pellets although it definitely love its seeds! Ive had success with weaning birds to pellets, but I raised them completely. When I got this lil bird, it had already began to eat some seed. Anyway looking forward to meeting everyone

I'm new to IRN's too but mine hates pellets. He eats seed and any fruit/vegetable I give him. He eats cooked 13 bean soup mix but hates pasta. He'll eat cooked rice.
